Issue Position

I support common sense regulations to control carbon emissions. Common sense requires a balancing test approach that takes into consideration the economy, our national security, as well as our responsibility as stewards of creation.

Plant Harley branch, or as they call it in Eatonton/Milledgeville, the "Steam Plant" is closing due to this very issue. I want real answers for the people I intend to represent.

Once my district recovers from this economic loss, or if a carbon tax will create jobs in the 10th District, I will then consider supporting a carbon tax.
